Taccani compressed-H₂ loading

An adiabatic compressed-hydrogen carrier loading case. The primary mass gate currently fails and is intentionally preserved as an open evidence issue.

FAIL / OPEN

Acceptance rule

Final hydrogen mass on board at 300 bar must be within 5% of the published value. Current deviation: −7.6%.

Why it remains open. The paper’s free pressure-driven inflow/throttling treatment, storage temperature, centrifugal compressor maps and control details are not fully specified for reproduction. OffshoreLH2 matches an independent energy-balance interpretation better than it matches the published loading result, so the discrepancy is kept visible rather than tuning the model to force a pass.
